View Past Versions
Open Version History
For most Tool Configurations:
- Open the Tool's Configuration list, such as Cleaner Configurations or Filterer Configurations.
- Find the Configuration you want to review.
- Select History.
- On the Revision history screen, review the Saved revisions list.
Some edit screens also include a History button. When opened from an editor, Back to Editor returns you to the editing area.
For Import Designer Configurations:
- Open the Import Designer Configuration list.
- Find the Import Designer Configuration you want to review.
- Press the History button.
- Review the version history.
Find the version you need
On the Revision history screen, use the search box to search by version, date, or person. You can also use the status filter:
| Filter | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All versions | All saved versions for the Configuration. |
| Current only | Only the active current version. |
| Previous only | Older versions that are not current and not original. |
| Original only | The first saved version. |
If no versions match your filters, WebHammers shows No revisions match the current filters.
View a saved version
To inspect one version:
- In Saved revisions, choose the version you want.
- Select View.
- Review the Plain-language summary.
The summary can include:
- Created
- Created By
- Change Summary
- a table with Field and Value
Some values may be summarized instead of shown in full. For sensitive-looking details, WebHammers may show Hidden (sensitive field).
Import Designer history
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Version | The saved version number. |
| Created | The date and time the version was created, shown in UTC. |
| Status | Current for the active version, or Previous for older versions. |
The Import Designer history screen includes Back to Configs and Open Editor. If you do not see compare or restore actions, use the available history options on that screen.
Common issues
Issue: No versions appear
If the shared screen shows No saved revisions are available for this configuration yet, the Configuration does not have saved revision history available on that screen.
For Import Designer, the comparable message is No revisions found.
Issue: History does not load
You may see Unable to load history, History not found, Config not found, or Session expired.
Try Refresh or Try again if available. If WebHammers asks you to sign in again, sign in and reopen the Configuration history. If the issue continues, contact your WebHammers administrator or support contact.
