General FAQ

What is WebHammers?

WebHammers is a set of focused Tools for working with structured data. Different Tools support tasks such as cleaning, filtering, validating, mapping, profiling, comparing, and reducing exposure of sensitive data.

Who is WebHammers for?

WebHammers is for people who need a clearer, more repeatable way to work with structured datasets. That can include operational teams, analysts, administrators, and technical users.

Do I need to be a developer to use it?

No. WebHammers is intended to make practical data work more accessible to non-developers as well as technical users.

How do I know which Tool to use?

Use Choose the right Tool and Tools overview. Those pages help you match your task to the correct Tool.

What is the best way to get started?

Start with a small sample File, run a simple workflow, and review the output carefully before moving to a larger dataset.

How do I sign in?

Select Sign in / Join, enter your Email address, and select Send code. WebHammers emails a one-time code that you enter on the sign-in screen.

What happens when my trial ends?

Trial access lasts 30 days. When the trial ends, WebHammers may show Trial expired and block Configuration and Run-related actions until paid access is active.

Where do I manage my subscription?

Open My Account, then select Subscription. From there, you can review your Plan, verified access, billing cycle, period date, and billing status. You can also use Start checkout, Refresh billing, and Manage billing when those actions are available for your account.

Can Teams share Configurations?

Yes. Team Configurations are available when you select the correct Team context and your role allows the action. Admin and Editor users can create and edit Team Configurations. Admin, Editor, and Runner users can run Team Configurations. Viewer users can view Team Configurations but are not allowed to run them.

How does WebHammers handle my data during Tool processing?

WebHammers jobs run on your machine. Your data stays on your machine during Tool processing. WebHammers servers store Configurations so they can be reused, shared, and managed. A Configuration may include information such as the Field names from your data files.

See Data security and data handling for practical guidance on Files, datasets, Configurations, Runs, output Files, and Team sharing.

Can I use more than one Tool in the same overall workflow?

Yes. A practical workflow may use more than one Tool. For example, a team might profile data first, clean it second, validate it third, and obfuscate it before sharing.

Where can I learn more about account access?

See Account types and subscription access.

Where do I go if I need help?

Open Get help for support options and guidance.
