When to use Deduplicator

Choose Deduplicator when:

  • you suspect multiple Records refer to the same entity
  • a File has repeated entries from manual merges or repeated uploads
  • duplicate records would distort counts, totals, or business decisions

Good fits​

Deduplicator is a strong fit for repeatable business rules that should be applied the same way each time similar data arrives.

Start small first​

For a first Run, test the workflow with a small sample File. This helps confirm that the result matches the intended business outcome before you scale up.

When to use a different Tool​

When you need to check rule compliance rather than repeated records, use Validator instead.
